New Area--New Companion

Right now I am in the mission home (because our apartment is only about an hour away by bike) and I am talking with Elder Geslison about Spanish Fork. It is way fun.
Anyways, it has been a good week. I am in Higashi now, and it is certainly different from Asahikawa. It has rained all week, so that is now fun. Our apartment is way small, but I will survive.
Elder Naganuma is a good missionary, and this should be a good transfer. We speak pretty much all Japanese every day, even though his English is pretty good. It sort of hurts my head after a while, but it is good for me.
On Saturday we went to the house of Mr. Yamazaki, the owner of Royce Chocolates. He is way nice, and he has been friends with the missionaries since 2005. He takes a picture and gets the business card of every missionary and puts them in a scrapbook. He showed us the scrapbook, and I was surprised to see Elder Sean Ludlow from Spanish Fork way back in 2005/6.
On Saturday I also received a package from Grandma Fife and letters from Mom. They were way awesome to get. I can't believe that Craig and Whitney are getting married - that's crazy! The package is awesome, and it includes some of my favorites (fruit snacks, gummi worms, corn nuts, and brownie mix).
On Saturday I got to give a talk in Sacrament meeting (I got called on Saturday night to give it). It actually went really well, and my Japanese is certainly improving.
Umm, there are a few other things that happened this week, but I sort of want to talk to the other missionaries in the mission home. Sorry, I'll write an extra long email next week.
I love you. Happy Birthday Mom and Dad. Elder Christensen
