Third Week of Letter from MTC

This week has been uneventful for the most part, so I might not have a super-long email this week. Sorry. In answer to your question about exercise, I play basketball during gym time. I ran once, and every once in a while I play volleyball, but basketball is what I mostly play. It's pretty good stuff. Thanks for sending a package. I haven't gotten it yet, but I'm excited for it. I'm pretty sure I'm the last in our district to get a package.
I'm sure that the weather has been making Bryce unhappy. I know that I've been extremely disappointed at the lack of snow. Hopefully we can get at least a few good storms before I go to Sapporo. I need to build up my cold-weather resistance.
So, gas is under $1.50/gallon. That's crazy! Maybe when I get home it will be under $1.00. We got to see the First Presidency Devotional on Sunday, and it was really good. I liked Pres. Eyring’s talk about their family's nativity reenactments.
Well, I learned a lot of Japanese this week and we started to teach Lesson 2. That's about all, I can think of much else.
Have a great week. I love you all. Elder Christensen
