Pictures of Dallin

If you would like to see pictures from Dallin's mission president that he took of Dallin when he arrived in Japan, he posts them on his facebook. I haven't been brave enough to ask him if we could be friends because that is out of my comfort zone but I might get brave later. His mission president's name is Lee A. Daniels. At the bottom of his facebook he has December and Feb. pictures. Dallin is in the Feb. pictures. It is a great place to see pictures of Sapporo.

Japan Sapporo Mission Information

The church in Hokkaido: The Japan Sapporo Mission covers the entire island of Hokkaido - the northern most island in Japan. The mission headquarters is located in the city of Sapporo. WIth a population close to 2 million people, Sapporo is the 5th largest city in Japan. Sapporo has three Stakes, one District with 27 wards and branches. The climate in Hokkaido is very similar to Park City, Utah. There are four distinct seasons with significant snow fall in the Winters, cherry blossoms in the Spring, beautiful summers that avoid Japan's typical rainy season, and colorful Falls. The size of Hokkaido is approximately the same size as the state of Indiana. The missionaries who serve in Hokkaido are lovingly referred to as the "Frozen Chosen"
