Hello Family!
Sorry that my email is late this week. We have Zone Leader Council today and tomorrow, so our p-day got moved to today.
Thanks for the great emails from everyone. I can't believe all that is happening back home. Time is just slipping away and I don't know what to do.
This past week and a half has been pretty crazy. Last p-day we drove from Kushiro through the mountains of Hokkaido to see some good nature. We also got to play some park golf, basically a miniature version of real golf with bigger balls. I was terrible at teeing off, but pretty good once I got close to the hole. I guess years of mini-golf helped out a little bit. The highlight of the trip was supposed to be Lake Mashu, but it was all fogged over when we got there, so we couldn't really see anything.
And now for the really exciting news of this past week....transfers! I am staying in Obihiro and my companion will be Elder Gandy. He was in the apartment since before I came to Obihiro, so I already know him pretty well. He came to Japan this past February, so Japanese is still a pretty big struggle for him.
But, I am excited for this next transfer. It should be a good one. It was way hot this week (36 C this past Saturday, the hottest of all of Japan). Thanks for all your prayers and love. Have a great week.
Elder Christensen
