Sister Haruki got baptized!

I am glad that you are getting rain and we aren't. Rain is no fun on a bike. We have had clear skies for the past week or so, and it has really helped us be able to find some good people out on the streets. Our companionship (Me, Elders Shoji, Gandy, and Tashiro) has been interesting: nearly every day I spend the daytime with one elder, and the nighttime with another elder. Sometimes I get to work with all 3 in one day. It is pretty crazy for setting appointments because we say "Ok, we'll see you at (such and such a time)." when in our minds we are thinking "I wonder who will get to come to this lesson." Elder Tashiro (our AP) worked mostly with Elders Gandy/Shoji, so I didn't get to work much with him. I worked with whoever Elder Tashiro wasn't with. It was a great learning experience and I had a lot of fun, but it was really difficult coordinating all of our schedules.
But....I am going to a place called Abashiri tomorrow and I will be there till Saturday, at which time I will go to Kushiro for interviews with President. Everyone in the zone is going to stay in Kushiro for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. (I might email from Kushiro next week, but I don't know for certain.)  But having 3 in Abashiri and 3 in Obihiro wouldn't be effective, so I get to go along with Elder Tashiro and help out the Abashiri elders. Yet another crazy turn of events this transfer. 1 week in Kushiro, 2 weeks with Elder Lowry, 1 week in a threesome, 1 week with rotating companions, and 1 week in Abashiri! It is weird, but I am learning a lot and I have lots of opportunities to help the other elders in our zone.
But now for the real news of the week: Sister Haruki got baptized on Wednesday! It was my first baptism in over half a year, but it seems like the time has just flown by. Sister Haruki's testimony after she got baptized was way strong. She said "Now I am going to work so that one day I can get sealed to my husband and two sons in the temple soon." She really understands the gospel and has a much stronger testimony than a lot of older members in Japan. Hopefully soon her husband's heart will soften and he will listen to the missionaries.
Well, I had a lot of really great experiences this week and I am loving missionary work.
